The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF), managed and controlled by the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA), is a sovereign development fund with a unique mandate to invest on a commercial basis to support economic activity and employment in Ireland. The Fund is a strategic investor with strong connections in both the public and private sectors.

ISIF focuses its efforts on making transformational investments across its impact themes of Climate, Housing and Enabling Investments, Indigenous Businesses, and Food and Agriculture. In addition, ISIF has flexibility to invest in National and Compelling investments in response to future macro events.

Deputy Director, Head of Investment – Dublin

Reporting to the Director, ISIF, and sitting as a member of the ISIF investment and NTMA clearing committees, the Head of Investment (HOI) is responsible for Leading the Investment Team in the origination, due diligence, negotiation, underwriting, delivery and management of investments made by the Fund across the Discretionary Portfolio, which includes both €5.2Bn of Global investments and €3.8Bn of Irish Impact investments in line with the agreed investment strategy.

The ideal candidate is a senior investment/finance professional with a strong track record, and breadth, across a wide array of asset classes in both public and private markets. They will have a proven track record of developing and delivering on a strategic investment plan for an organisation while leading and empowering a high performing team.
